Fix a Blurry or Distorted Face in Burning Bridges AI Videos
Check portrait quality, head turns, cup occlusion and the downloaded MP4 before spending credits on another generation. No exact-likeness guarantee.
By the Burning Bridges AI team · Updated
A recognizable opening frame can still become blurry or look like a different person during a turn. Burning Bridges AI generates a new moving scene from a portrait, a prepared reference video and a prompt. It does not paste an unchanged photograph onto every frame, and we do not guarantee exact likeness.
Start by locating the problem. A poor source portrait, a difficult moment in the generated scene and a compressed playback copy need different responses. The checklist below helps you decide whether a better input or another generation is worthwhile; it is not a tested guarantee that any particular change fixes the face.
First compare three things
Open the portrait you uploaded, the completed local MP4 and the version you are viewing online. Check whether the defect is already in the portrait, appears in the original download, or appears only in a later upload. Keep the file at its actual playback size while inspecting; a tiny face in a wide shot is difficult to judge when enlarged heavily.
If the source picture is blurry, editing or exporting it at a larger pixel size does not restore facial detail that was never captured. If the local MP4 looks better than a social upload, focus on that later publishing step before buying another generation.
Choose an input with visible facial detail
Use one authorized portrait in JPG, PNG or WebP, under 8 MB and at least 512 × 512 pixels. Select a sharp photograph with useful lighting and a clearly visible face. Check eyes, jawline, hairline, facial hair and any defining features in the preview.
Avoid starting from a tiny group-photo crop, strong beauty filters, motion blur, very dark lighting, sunglasses that hide most of the face, or a hand covering the mouth. These are practical input checks, not claims that the service has measured a particular success-rate improvement for each one.
The current generator has no Face Lock, identity-strength slider, custom camera control or option to provide several user portraits. Do not follow a tutorial that asks you to adjust controls this site does not offer.
Inspect specific moments instead of judging one screenshot
Check approximately the opening, 5 seconds, 10 seconds and the end, then play the transitions between them. These are review checkpoints, not guaranteed action timestamps.
- Opening wide view: Is the intended lead recognizable, and is the face too small to judge fairly?
- Approach and closer view: Do the eyes, nose, facial hair and jaw still resemble the portrait?
- Cup or hand near the face: Does the face change when the obstruction passes, or do a hand and mouth merge?
- Head turn and closing view: Does the model retain one identity as the angle changes?
- Supporting people: Has the lead's appearance spread to another character?
Check clothes, the cup and the background separately from identity. A familiar party setting does not prove the person is accurate; an accurate still frame does not prove the whole moving sequence is stable.
What 720p can and cannot address
480p costs 40 credits; 720p costs 60. Both are 15-second landscape videos. A higher resolution provides a different output setting, but does not guarantee correct anatomy, identity or lip sync. If the main issue is a different face after a turn, do not describe 720p as a guaranteed repair.
Review the actual example outputs and the credit-price explanation. A new visual generation is a new charged job. The 30-credit welcome allowance does not cover even one 480p generation by itself.
Distinguish a failed task from a disappointing result
A task explicitly marked as failed is different from a completed video with a distorted face. Confirmed generation failures restore the reserved credits. We do not guarantee that every subjective quality issue qualifies for an automatic refund; purchase refund requests are reviewed under the refund policy.
If the message is “Adding the original soundtrack,” the job is in a separate audio-processing stage. Check the existing creation with the same Google account before starting another. Use the soundtrack guide for silence or audio delays.
When to ask for help
If a downloaded result is badly distorted, contact the support address in the refund policy with your account email, creation reference and the approximate time of the visible problem. Do not send account passwords. Describe whether the identity is wrong from the first frame or changes only after a turn or obstruction.
Generated results remain private to your account; do not publish someone else's portrait or a private result simply to demonstrate a bug. Review privacy for deletion requests and use policy for permitted inputs and sharing.
